The Manistee 150 is a 150 mile canoe/kayak race that covers the entire length of the Manistee River. Paddlers will start from near the headwaters of the Manistee at the Shel Haven Canoe Livery, and end approximately 150 miles down river at the Insta Launch Campground, just inside Lake Manistee.
 
  There will be a mandatory pre-race meeting Friday night August 1st.  The race will begin bright and early Saturday August 2nd and continue on thru the evening hours of Sunday August 3rd.
 
   A portion of the entry fee from all Kruger Canoes participating in this event will go to benifit the Verlen Kruger Memorial.
